There’s a phrase that’s been echoing in my spirit lately, soft yet urgent, like a divine whisper that won’t let go:
✨ “Prepare for the blessing.”
✨ “When the opportunity presents itself, be ready.”
✨ “Prepare, prepare, prepare.”
If you know me, you know how passionate I am about leadership, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and purpose. I deeply believe in showing up boldly for the calling God has placed on your life. But here’s something many people don’t see: the preparation that happens behind the scenes. The quiet discipline. The unseen growth. The moments of stretching, pruning, and submission that happen in the dark before anything ever blooms in the light.
You don’t wait until the moment arrives to become ready. You prepare in the waiting. You train in the shadows. You trust God in the stillness. And you build – brick by brick- the spiritual, mental, and emotional foundation that can sustain the weight of what you’re praying for.
In leadership and in life, I don’t just show up to serve, I show up prepared to serve. Whether I’m building high-performing teams, developing visionary projects, mentoring future leaders, or coaching with clarity and compassion, I do it with intentionality. I lead with biblical principles: wisdom, humility, stewardship, and a love for people that reflects the heart of Christ. So let me encourage you, wherever you are in your journey: Don’t rush the process. Embrace it.
Sharpen your skills. Soften your heart. Honor those who walk beside you. Give gratitude to those who pour into you. And most importantly, stay in step with God. Because when He opens that door, and He will, your preparation will meet that opportunity. And you won’t have to fake your readiness. You’ll walk in with quiet confidence and bold obedience, knowing the moment was made for you…and you were made for the moment.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3
Keep preparing. Your moment is coming.
Now, a question for you: Have you been in a season of quiet preparation? Share with us, how God is shaping you in the waiting. What is it that you are preparing for? OR, maybe you are waiting but don’t know how to begin in this season of preparation, feel free to reach out, I would love to partner with you and help you get started. Just like I did.
