🌿Finding Purpose: Realigning with God’s Plan
Your life has always been intentional. This self-paced course is your invitation to slow down, reflect, and rediscover what God designed you for – on purpose, for a purpose.

Long before you were born, God had already written your story. As Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart.”
Yet somewhere along the way, life’s distractions, pressures, and even generational patterns can push us off course. Instead of walking in God’s plan, we can find ourselves stuck in survival mode, chasing ambition without fulfillment, or feeling lost without clear direction.
This self-paced course helps you slow down, reset, and realign with the One who designed you on purpose, for a purpose. Together, we’ll explore the difference between purpose, ambition, and survival mode, and learn how faith goals, vision boards, and accountability partnerships can help you stay aligned with God’s unique plan for your life.
What to Expect

Come ready to reflect, reset, and realign.
You were created with intention, it’s time to rediscover the direction God always had for you.
And who knows? You may already be walking in your purpose, just not yet in its fullness.

- 🌿Module 1: Teaching- Purpose vs. Ambition vs. AssignmentIn this section, we’re going to unpack three concepts that are often intertwined but hold very different meanings: purpose, ambition, and assignment. Purpose is God’s divine design for your life, the “why” behind your existence. Ambition is what you want to achieve, the goals, recognition, and accomplishments that can inspire you, but don’t define your calling. Assignment is the work, roles, or responsibilities God places in your path, season by season, to prepare and position you for your greater purpose. Many of us spend years chasing ambition, hoping it will fill the void in our hearts, only to find that even success can feel empty when it’s not connected to God’s plan. Here’s a real-life picture: imagine someone who finally lands that high-paying corporate position they’ve been striving for, yet they wake up each morning feeling drained, restless, and unfulfilled. That’s ambition without alignment. In contrast, someone walking in purpose might accept a role that looks less impressive on paper but allows them to serve, lead, and use their God-given gifts with joy, peace, and fulfillment. During this teaching, take a moment to pause and reflect: Are you operating in purpose, chasing ambition, or simply managing assignments without seeing how they connect to your calling? Grab your journal and jot down the moments, roles, or experiences in your life that feel aligned, and those that don’t. As you do, pray for clarity and discernment. By the end of this section, you’ll be able to recognize where you are and take intentional steps toward walking fully in the purpose God designed for you. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” -Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)1
- ✨ Milestone 1: Purpose, Ambition, and Assignment CheckpointYou’ve taken the first step by exploring the difference between purpose, ambition, and assignment. Now, it’s time to slow down and bring it home, to you. This milestone is an invitation to pause and reflect on where you are in this season of life. What’s been guiding your decisions lately, purpose, pressure, or distraction? What’s been fueling your days peace, performance, or a quiet pull from God toward something deeper? Take this short self-check with honesty and openness. Don’t rush it. There’s no “perfect score” here, only space for awareness and alignment. 💡 Remember: Purpose unfolds in layers. You might not have all the answers yet, and that’s completely okay. This moment is about seeing clearly, not striving for completion. By the time you reach Milestone 2, you’ll look back at these same questions with new eyes and greater clarity. But for now, take a deep breath, invite God into the moment, and let Him show you what’s really stirring in your heart.2
- 🌿Module 2: Activity- “Seasons Map” (chart life seasons and lessons)Now it’s time to get hands-on and visual. In this activity, you’ll create a Seasons Map, a personal timeline of your life that helps you see how God has been shaping your story, one season at a time. Think of this as a sacred look back, a moment to pause, reflect, and trace God’s fingerprints through both the highs and the valleys. You’ll chart out your different life seasons, noting the lessons learned, challenges faced, and ways your faith, resilience, and purpose have grown. Start by breaking your life into a few key periods: childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, and your current season. For each, ask yourself: 🔹What was God teaching me in this season? 🔹What challenges or experiences shaped my character? 🔹When did I feel most alive, and when did I feel the most disconnected? 🔹What gifts or passions began to surface during this time? 💡 Remember: The seasons that stretched you often carry the deepest wisdom. Don’t rush past them, lean in and notice how God used even the hard moments to prepare and position you. This isn’t just a timeline, it’s a spiritual map of growth and grace. Take out your journal or the template provided, and begin sketching out your seasons. Add words, colors, symbols, or verses that represent what each phase taught you. By the end, you’ll begin to see the thread of purpose woven through every chapter, evidence that none of it was wasted. Every lesson, every delay, every door that closed has been part of your divine preparation. ✨ “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:282
- 🌿Module 3: Scenario ActivityIn this section, you will be provided 2 scenario's to choose from. Choose the scenario based on your current situation. Imagine this: you’ve been pursuing a career or path for years, investing time, energy, and resources, yet something feels off. Your heart knows you’re being called elsewhere, perhaps into a field that better aligns with your gifts, passions, and God-given purpose. It’s exciting, but also intimidating, leaving a familiar path for an uncertain one takes courage. In this scenario, you’ll reflect on what it truly means to respond to God’s call even when it conflicts with your plans or the world’s expectations. Consider practical steps like assessing your strengths, identifying transferable skills, seeking wise counsel, and creating a plan to transition with intentionality and faith. Real-life examples abound: someone leaving a high-paying corporate role to step into ministry, teaching, or creative work, navigating fear, finances, and family expectations while trusting God’s timing. Take a moment to journal your thoughts: If God is nudging me toward a different path, what’s holding me back? What small steps could I take now to move closer to His calling? This is not about rushing or making impulsive decisions, it’s about honestly evaluating where you are, recognizing God’s voice, and preparing to move with faith, clarity, and courage.4
- ✨ Milestone 2: Realignment & Revelation CheckpointYou’ve now taken a deep dive into your past seasons, explored what lessons they’ve taught you, and considered what it looks like when your career path and convictions collide. Before moving forward into your Purpose Declaration, let’s pause again to connect the dots. These next questions will help you process what God has revealed so far and give you something to revisit over the next 6 months. This milestone is designed to help you capture a few of the revelations you’ve uncovered so far. Think of this as a bridge: you’re moving from reflection into clarity.2
- 🌿Module 4: Reflection- Purpose DeclarationYou’ve spent time mapping your seasons, reflecting on God’s guidance, and exploring scenarios that challenge your assumptions, values, and ambitions. Whether you’ve recognized that you’re on the right path, feel called to pivot, or are navigating a season of transition between roles, you now have a clearer picture of where God is leading you. This is the perfect moment to capture these insights in one powerful statement, your Purpose Declaration. Think of it as your personal blueprint, a statement that brings together your gifts, lessons, passions, and God’s calling into a single, guiding truth for your life. Don’t worry about making it perfect; this is about clarity, honesty, and alignment. As you move into the reflection section, approach it with intentionality and expectancy. Allow yourself to accept your purpose, embrace God’s plan, and prepare to live it out practically in your everyday life. Grab your journal, quiet your mind, and let this be a sacred space where your reflections become a declaration of who you are called to be and the impact you are meant to make.2
- Wrap-Up & PrayerYou’ve taken meaningful steps today, reflecting on your past seasons, examining where you are now, and boldly putting into words the purpose God has placed within you. Remember, finding purpose is not a one-time event, but a living, breathing journey of clarity, acceptance, and faithful action. Carry your Purpose Declaration with you. Revisit it often, at least once every quarter, as the seasons of life change. Let it be your compass when decisions get hard, your anchor when distractions pull, and your light when the path feels unclear. Purpose isn’t about perfection; it’s about being faithful with what God has already entrusted to you. As you continue forward, know that you don’t walk alone, God is with you, guiding you, strengthening you, and cheering you on as you live out the calling He designed uniquely for your life.1
